Description: 1940s Stromberg Carlson 1212 "Fat Boy" rotary telephone. The 1212 was not in production long because the bakelite ears on the handset cradle would break off when the phone was dropped. Due to its large size it was nicknamed the "Fat Stromberg" or just "Fat Boy" among collectors. This phone is fully restored and in perfect working condition showing no signs of wear or use. The phone is equiped with a line cord and modular connector for connection to a standard telephone jack.

Description: 1940s Stromberg Carlson 1250 black bakelite wall telephone. Made of black bakelite, this phone is known for it's cut off corner octagnal base. Along with the 1243, te 1250 was the first telephone to utilize a true modular network circuit three years before Western Electric. This phone is fully restored and in perfect working condition showing no signs of wear or use. The phone is equiped with a plastic modular back plate to be used on a standard wall mount jack.

1950s Stromberg Carlson 1443 Black Bakelite Rotary Telephone

Description: 1950s Stromberg Carlson 1443 black bakelite rotary telephone. Stromberg Carlson phone company followed up their 1243 with the 1443. This phone was short lived as it was replaced soon after with the 1543. The 1443 has a small bale between the cradle ears for carrying the phone; this fragile piece had a tendency to break easily. The 1443 still used the same handset that was used on the earlier 1243. This phone has a switchable ringer volume control. This phone is sometimes called the "Cut Corner 500". It also uses a switch hook that can be switched out, converting this phone to a wall phone. The fragile bale on this phone has been repaired. The phone is equiped with a line cord and modular connector for connection to a standard telephone jack.
