Description: 1930s Kopp Glass Company "Modernistic" transparent red/pink glass vase. In 1928 Kopp Glass Company located in Swissvale, Pennsylvania, introduced a line of glassware called "Modernistic" inspired by the Ruba Rombic line from Consolidated Glass Company. In 1927 Reuben Haley designed a line of glassware called Ruba Rombic for the Consolidated Glass Company of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The Phoenix Glass Company also produced Rombric pieces. The piece is clearly marked with the KGI mark. There is a tiny chip on the inside rim of the vase.
